Cave and Fossil Experience
Come along to Stump Cross Caverns anytime between 9am and 11.30am - Enjoy a cave tour in the light & choose one of our quizzes: Fossils, Fairies or Dino hunt. You can find the clues in the caves and each child will receive a prize on completion.
From 1pm-2pm you will join the Interactive Fossil Experience in our cinema room. Join one of our captivating to learn all about caves and fossils, then dig for your very own gems, fossils & minerals. Fill a bag to take away with you.
At 3pm round off your visit with a second descent into the caves, this time under the glow of a UV torch. The use of a UV light torch can highlight the different minerals in the rocks and cause fascinating scenes. It’s an adventure like never before!
