It is with great pleasure that I extend a variety of services to you as a full-time professional. These services include expert fossil preparation, guided fossil hunting walks, and a curated selection of beautifully prepared fossils from my workshop, perfect for enhancing your home collection.
You'll often find me on the Yorkshire Coast, engaged in fossil hunting, but I also offer family-friendly guided walks and fossil polishing sessions in collaboration with my colleagues at Stump Cross Caverns. The limestone rock at Stump Cross Caverns is remarkably rich in fossils, offering a unique opportunity to explore and learn about local fossils and minerals.
Our 1.5-hour sessions are conducted entirely outdoors, inviting you to discover the captivating landscape of Stump Cross and embark on a fossil hunt. Participants will have the opportunity to select a fossil to take home. Following our exploration, I will guide you through the fossil preparation process in our workshop, the 'pod', providing you with valuable tips and techniques for fossil hunting.
**Schedule:**
Please arrive at Stump Cross Caverns by 11 AM. Given our location 1,200 feet above sea level, atop a hill, it's essential to dress warmly – the area can be quite chilly! Our walk will take place from 11 AM to 12:15 PM. Afterward, you're invited to join me in the pod, where we'll polish the fossil you've chosen together.
